[kwlug-announce] Meeting Monday: BigBlueButton Setup, High-Powered Rocketry (June 2026)

Many moons ago Jason Paul started a journey of setting up our
videoconferencing software BigBlueButton on the Amazon cloud. He
promised to finish the story in a second presentation, and now that
second presentation is here. Jason will show us the DevOpsy techniques
he used to configure and deploy BBB. Even if you are not into hosting
videoconferencing servers, his presentation is sure to be packed with
valuable techniques you can use for your own projects. 

Another way to touch The Cloud is to launch some rockets, and that is
where our second presentation comes in. Matteo Golin does high-powered
rocketry, and he uses FLOSS tools to design, simulate, build and fly
them. He will show off some of this software, so that you can embark
on your own journey to make rockets that don't explode on the
launchpad. 

KWLUG's next in-person social is scheduled for Monday, June 15 at
Prohibition Warehouse in Uptown Waterloo. If the weather co-operates
