[kwlug-disc] is it just me, or is debian package management painful?

I'm guessing this is am embedded system?

Kernel modules?

i.e. If this is a desktop, aptitude and gui's would usually be in the 
picture.

The very first answer to your original query said to use aptitude. But 
you didn't want to install it.
