My experience with SVN is very limited, but from what I understand, it
should be reasonable for what you want.

My experience with hg is even more limited than with SVN
(read: non-existent), but hg and git are practically equivalent, and at
this point both should have equally ``good'' UIs. Hg looks good to me!
