[kwlug-disc] why would you do "apt-get dist-upgrade" regularly?

  ah, that's useful info.  my plan was to do a "dry-run" first, to see
if there were any complaints.  would a dry run of a full upgrade
identify potential problems like that?  in any event, i'll check the
release notes.  thanks.
