I saw that some people were able to boot the HTC Diamond in Android,
but can't boot directly (needs a WinCE program to boot Linux). Also not
everything was working at the time I checked.

Seems that this warrants a show and tell session at one of the KWLUG
meetings. Otherwise, if there is no interest, I would be interested in your
progress via email (off list).
