Well said - both of you.

I see what Bob is saying, but I don't think I agree that we must
define ourselves, and I don't think that it's possible. kwlug is a
group of hobbyists, technical aficionados, Linux (and all that it
means) advocates, FOSS advocates (and all that that means), local and
larger community 'activists' (enthusiasts?), computer enthusiasts (and
all the sharing, learning, and inherent mentoring that that means),
and many more characteristics, all mushed together.

To different degrees - within each individual. And to different
degrees - as a group of individuals. And to different degrees - from
minute to minute, and topic to topic. And that's OK. Compelling even.
Fluid.

I agree with Chris - kwlug is whatever kwlug's members contribute, in
that place and time and moment, and topic. The next second it will be
similar but not the same. Depending upon the presence, place, time,
moment, topic.

It's all good.

And won't change just because we meet in a particular location.

Here's an example ... Raul's last presentation. Arguably technical.
Presented as "Here's how I remotely help my Dad." How can that NOT be
inclusive of everyone even remotely interested in attending kwlug. I
wouldn't want to even begin to try to label or define the nature of
the content or the interested audience. But I would say it is
inclusive, participatory, and welcome to and by all.
