looking at getting a new laptop with full WUXGA (1920x1200) display,
was in future shop the other day, asked a nonchalant question along
those lines of the salesentity, who responded, "oh, in another six
months, there won't be any, they're all going to HD (1920x1080)."
huh? since when? is this true? sure, HD is the *consumer video*
standard, but WUXGA is the *computer* standard. has anyone else heard
of this alleged trend?
