Other lightweight questions might involve: 
  - The filesystem hierarchy ("What's /var for?" "How could I dual-boot
    a Linux system and keep my personal data?")
  - Initscripts and runlevels ("How would you restart apache without
    rebooting the computer?")
  - Stuff about installing software on their distro of choice. 
  - Stuff about the release cycles of their distro of choice. 

I think this stuff comes up enough that anybody who aspires to any
kind of technical position involving Linux should have some
familiarity with them. (Of course, people who just use Linux as a
desktop platform might not know or care about these things, but I
would wonder why such a person would want to get a "Linux job". It is
also stuff that people who are brand new to Linux (e.g. maybe
installed it for the first time to prepare for their interview) might
not know about.
