  a friend wants to take a look at an OSS-available ECM package called
"nuxeo": http://www.nuxeo.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/.  and while i'm
certainly capable of following the instructions on how to dump it onto
my f11 system (i think), i have to admit that i know precious little
about the general architecture of middleware.
  i've always worked a bit further down than that, so i'm interested
in finding a tutorial or two on the basics of things like middleware
and jboss and java beans and so on -- *very* basic stuff, like the
general pieces and what they're for and how they hold together and so
on.
  is there a decent overview that would walk me through that? thanks.
