[kwlug-disc] Developing cross platform Linux + Mac OS apps

I'm no Mac developer, but I've used some commercial-grade software 
(Novell GroupWise) that's available for both Mac and Linux as a 
"cross-platform client".

It's done in Java, and pretty much universally hated by all who use it. 
  So don't do that.
