In principle, you could build an Atom/Ion system without a fan.  Then
the noisiest parts are the hard drive(s).  Best would be to have
netbooting clients or, more expensive, SSD drives.

But you do have to tinker it yourself.

Myth 0.21+updates will play many ISOs, but not all. This is not
insurmountable though as VLC seemingly works with everything and is a
player option in myth.
