You could just do the ssh_host* files.

speaking of ssh, given that the new system generated its own initial
keys, it's likely that some users might need to re-sync for ssh
access, unless i copy over the contents of /etc/ssh/. is that a safe
operation? the two config files there are identical but, obviously,
the rsa and dsa key files won't be. but as long as they're consistent
with each other, is there any difficulty in just copying over the
entire directory as is?
