I have been using Mandriva since it first came out. I tried Ubuntu, I
found it lacking things that Mandriva has.  I also found using a non RPM
based distro a bit confusing since some commands didn't work or were
more complicated.  Anyhow, I vote for Mandriva and if anyone disagrees,
it will be pistols at dawn!
