I don't know if it offers a good glimpse, but I like what it does show., 
It looks as though 2008 *was* the year of the linux desktop,, Prior 
years, Linux was sitting at .67%, but 2008 jumped to .82, 2009 to to 1%, 
and for 2010, so far, 1.02%... That's a better rate of adoption increase 
than I expected.

I think the world will be interesting when MS slips below 90%, and 
that's happening real fast now.
