That is a business error in succession planning and has nothing to do
with choice of OS.  The business will fail if it has no way to replace
important staff without interrupting service.  This is also an error
on the part of that "super user",  as you "can't be promoted if you
can't be replaced."  Also, how are you liking your vacation with the
office calling you every seven minutes?
