Came across this in Canada Computer tonight -

There was a thread a while back about using a roger's usb cell adapter 
for a laptop in Wiarton.

Looks like this takes that adapter and creates a local wi-fi hotspot.

I could see carrying this around for your laptop + pda. In a car, or a 
hotel room.

Thought it was interesting. Passing it along.
