Remind me please:

- 'posix acl's are (not?) the standard permissions? i.e. chmod, etc.
- sticky bit?
- umask?
- seems to me the gui programs, e.g. file properties in konqueror, 
understand / work with 'standard permissions.' Do they also tend to be 
acl aware?
