My point though, is that I don't think the perfect argument really
is that necessary, because politicians tend to respect influence and
their own self-preservation, more than logic and reason.
This isn't just my own cynicism talking... that's what a politician
actually said in that TED talk I linked to earlier in the thread.
Yes, *we* need to be as informed as possible. But, in my opinion,
the power shifts come from the number of voices, not just the logic of
our argument. It may be that logic will help increase the number, though.
