[kwlug-disc] how can i delete *all* page history from a mediawiki page?

  i've found what i thought was the online recipe to get rid of all
edit history of a page from mediawiki but that history refuses to go
away.  anyone know how?  i ran across a couple old wiki pages of mine
with several thousand edits after it had been hit by spammers so,
unsurprisingly, while i might as well keep the cleaned-up page, i have
no need for all that spam-related history.
