[kwlug-disc] netbooks without windows

Interesting thought. I might consider it if spending more time looking 
isn't worth it. I guess from an idealist standpoint I'd like to send the 
message (however small) that I don't support distributors that force 
windows on their users.

As I understand it, the only motivation for a company doing so is to 
receive some kind of volume discount on their OEM licenses. I don't see 
why they can't just wipe the hard drive for me (Dell).
