[kwlug-disc] dumb apache questions

I have a new Ubuntu box running Lucid alpha2.

I've installed the basics of munin. and ln -s /var/cache/munin/www
/var/www/munin

Locally, I can view the "It Works!" apache page, and I can also browse
the /munin site normally.  So it looks like I have permissions okay,
right?

Remotely I can view the apache "It Works!" page at the ipaddress, so
it isn't a firewall issue, right?

Remotely, however, I get a 403 for ipaddress/munin.  So I haz a sad.

I'm not using an.htaccess file.

Which three obvious rookie mistakes am I making?
