Many (CHEAP!) handsets are important for me - with my hearing, they're
more remote ringers than anything else. Cheaper than real standalone
ringers.
I've tried bluetooth on the cell, and will use it if driven, but I
find a normal corded headset better / more comfortable. Besides,
batteries get low, just pick up another handset and swap the headset -
no futzing with bluetooth.
Just wish darn 'backup' corded base stations would come with headset
jacks, for Pete's (or anybody else's) sake.
