Ubuntu has a feature to turn any CD/DVD or .ISO image into a bootable
USB key: "System, Administration, USB Startup Disk Creator". It's the
easiest solution for any Live CD image. I've used it to create a Debian
install USB, as well as working installations of Mint and Ubuntu Lucid
Lynx -- the Creator provides persistent storage on the USB key so that
settings and documents are preserved between sessions.
