There's Xubuntu http://xubuntu.org/ using the XFCE windows manager, and
Lubuntu http://lubuntu.net/ using the LXDE windows manager.
I'm running Xubuntu 9.10 on a laptop with a 466 MHz CPU and 256 MBytes
of RAM, and Lubuntu 10.04.2 on a desktop with a 730 MHz CPU and 256
MBytes RAM.
Of the two, Lubuntu is probably lighter, but I prefer Xubuntu, even
though it's noticeably more sluggish (probably due to the CPU)
