Stepping away from music for the moment ...
I've recently discovered that I'm even more out of touch with some
things than I thought ... like youtube. (Not even going to facebook.)
It is only in the last couple of months that I've thought of going to
youtube for product demos (especially in this age of internet stores),
or 'how to' video examples. Silly me - the rich resource has been
there the whole time.
So, getting back to this thread ... video posting to youtube, and the
FOSS tools thereof, may also be germane - and on the same lines as
music. ebay, kijiji, nifty things, grandkid videos for the
grandparents, all seem like viable demonstration thoughts.
webcam in one window, the doohickey that processes the video sitting
waiting in another, the doohickey that posts to youtube in a third ...
(Not suggesting you execute in the third.)
