The nasty part of this? The anti-selection that's about to take place.
All the high bandwidth users will be bailing for these other providers.
Low useage/more profitable customers have no incentive to switch. Bell
keeps all the profitable customers, Yak takes all the low profit
customers. (assuming that they make less money on higher bandwidth
customers, which I suspect is debatable).
It's all very devious and stifling for our access going forward.
