[kwlug-disc] Local ISP No Limits and No Usage Charges

Hello,
I have been using Teksavvy and have had no problems. When I lived in
downtown Kitchener I was getting 500kB/s down and 50kB/s up. Now I live
on the outskirts of Guelph and get 450kB/s down and 20kB/s up. For
$4/month they allow you to set MLPPP on your connection. This allows
one to bond multiple DSL connections. It also bypasses Bell's
throttling that occurs between 4:30pm and 1pm -- I believe it is. This
works even if you have just one DSL connection. Recently they started
offering cable internet access, which I would like to try.
For phone I use voip.ms and have no complaints. I believe it's less
than a cent a minute and DIDs are $1.50/month. Before this I used
Unlimitel which was an awful experience, to say the least.
