[kwlug-disc] Ubuntu 11.10

I didn't really smell any (more) smoke (than usual for this list).

The dustup isn't so much about Gnome vs KDE as new "tablet" ubuntu vs
old "desktop" ubuntu.  This is what the future is going to look like.
Enjoy.  And if not, keep the alternative desktop options handy at login!
