[kwlug-disc] Running Ubuntu 1-4 in a VM on Windows

Verify the checksum of you install media just to be sure all the bits
are there and in the correct order.

I've had trouble with 12.04 in VMware (crashes, stuck CPUs...) and
VMware on 12.04 (doesn't compile...).  The most straightforward solution
I've found is to run 12.04 in VirtualBox.
