That just would make Netflix an option over cable, just like how you
can get MPix on-demand over rogers cable, etc. It doesn't say anything
about ditching their streaming option, or requiring a cable
subscription.

Hulu on the other hand (only US, or those pretending to be) is
apparently planning on making users have a cable subscription. The
difference is Hulu is currently free (with an optional plus option),
and owned by NBCUniversal, Disney, and News Corp.
