[kwlug-disc] Which vendor for Raspberry Pi kits?

I bought mine from a British site, but that was some time ago, maybe a year
ago?  This was back when they were still back-ordered till the end of
time...

Nevertheless, as I mentioned they were back-ordered, but I would imagine
that situation has been resolved.

When mine arrived there was a small defect, which I believe I was able to
fix myself with a soldering iron.

Don't let my negative experiences turn you away, though.  Many people have
purchased the Pi  and use it for a variety of tasks.
