[kwlug-disc] KWLUG on IRC

I'm thinking that many people don't know that KWLUG has a presence on
IRC, or Internet Relay Chat.  Yes, it's old school, consisting mostly of
people sending text messages back and forth (although some fancy IRC
clients allow file sharing, voice chat and even video chat). 

When the scintillating conversation dies down people typically keep
their clients connected and just 'idle' in the channel.  In fact, some
people keep a connection even when they're not at their computers, and
will respond to a question or comment when they get back. It might take
a while before somebody responds if everyone is idle.
