NAS4Free is the successor to FreeNAS ie

The last time I looked at it, it had a very functional and clean
interface with plenty of capability under the hood.

One thing with ZFS is that you may want to save your Green drives for
something else:

The pre-wrapped solutions are getting nicer by the day, but if you want
to have full control over the functionality, it is difficult to beat
rolling your own system.  Maybe something like ZFS+Samba4?  Someone
should give a talk on that...
