[kwlug-disc] Bytecc 6 in One Card Reader under Linux Mint 16

What happens when you plug in the USB flash drive and run the dmesg
command? dmesg should show some information about the flash drive
being plugged in, and it should say what the device name (/dev/sdX) it
has been assigned to.
