[kwlug-disc] Dropping Bell, Phase 5

Wind is good for all-you-can-eat usage for a flat fee, for example,
teenagers like to text and do social networking stuff (Facebook, Twitter,
Instagram).

They even have a USA plan, where you get no roaming when you go to the USA.
Someone who goes to the US monthly is really happy with this. It is $40 a
month all inclusive. The regular unlimited plan was $30, so not bad for $10
more.

The problem is coverage. In Waterloo they do work on the west side south of
Columbia St. North of Columbia, there is no service. So friends we have
there could not get it.

Also, when you are outside cities you are roaming on Rogers and pay per MB,
per call, per text message. On the 401 there used to be a stretch between
Guelph and Milton that was like that.

Too bad because we had 3 new mobile startups, and Wind is the only one
left, after another being bought by Telus, and a third with Toronto only
coverage and saddled with debt.
