[kwlug-disc] Rogers Hybrid Fibre plans

My boss (who's currently a Rogers home customer) recently went to TekSavvy,
got their price structure for cable packages, then phoned Rogers and
screamed and stomped his feet and threatened to leave for TekSavvy.  The
Rogers rep gave him the same speed but now unlimited, with two free PVRs,
for about the same monthly rate as before.  So he did alright with the
"call and haggle", but as has been mentioned here, you have to keep doing
this over and over.

Myself, I moved from Bell DSL to TekSavvy cable a few years ago and haven't
looked back.
