Think balancing cheque book, electronically.

Given your note, Bob, sounds like you'd be perfect to pair up with Raul 
on this. i.e. In your non-computer newbiness, and (I'd bet) the 
generally poor uptake of such (e.g. gnucash) use, if you find things 
that make you buy in, communicating those things make help the audience 
buy in too.

This is cheque book level.

There is also bookkeeping level, but that's a different level. More 
quickbooks like.

Which (or both?) were you (and John) particularly referring to?

If interest, and expertise available (not I), this could be more than 1 
presentation. Cheque book level, then small business / consultant level?

Let alone:
- bank interaction
- investment monitoring? (As in currency if interested [good/bad day for 
cross-border shopping or amazon.com ordering], or your bank RRSP / TFSA 
interaction)
- retirement planning
- day trading
- tools
