(N)AMPS hasn’t been in service in Canada since May 31, 2007. Telus is planning on shutting down CDMA in 2015 in favour of focusing on LTE, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the others had similar plans.

It’s absolutely amazing how much information you can cram into the air. This is one facet of technology that both impresses and surprises me on a continuous basis.
