Cedric's message make me think of ...

So far as I know CentOS is still the (non-enterprise?) gold standard for 
a server box.

Khalid seems to think well enough of Ubuntu server.

Has it come anywhere close to garnering the same respect CentOS has?

- i.e. has it yet come down to merely a preference for Debian vs not 
based distros? (And corresponding config file locations / service 
management commands?)
