What makes you think there's no more TrueCrypt for Windows?
Works fine on my Win 8.1 install. (Note, not using it on the system
drive, or any drive at all, for the moment.) Have a backup running over
the web via OpenVPN to a shared container on the laptop. Key exists on
the remote only.
Works fine. I have no reason to believe it won't any time soon. From
Linux too.
Even if there later turns out to be a vulnerability, the bar to make use
of it is so high as to not be worth worrying about.
