Well, I already have KDE, so use KSnapShot.
The features I like are:
- I can take a snapshot of a part of the screen (which I select).
- A configurable delay in seconds before the capture is done. Helps a lot
when something only shows on mouse over, ...etc.
- You can save to a file (.png mostly), or copy the image to the clipboard
so you can post it to KDE's imgur, or in LibreOffice.
I did not know that some screen capture programs can do annotations, or
allow you to edit/obfuscate portions of the screen. I used GIMP for that
(which I don't like, given my aversion for graphics programs in general).
Would be nice to find a Linux program that would do that ...
