I didn't order a landline when I moved into a 1bdrm. I've been managing entirely on Wind, campus, and the library. Occasionally the GPRS will get laggy for a few hours, but mostly it is comparable. With rationing I manage to stay under 5gigs a month; I just turn my data off at night, which I find healthy psychologically as well.

Wind is still building their network. If you are in a core, you are covered. They work for me because I don't have an estate to worry about and I have self-control. If I was married with kids and a house in a suburb things would be very different.
