No. It was not virbr0.
It was:
auto br0
iface br0 inet dhcp
bridge_ports eth0
Again, I am using libvirt with kvm underneath, not any other virtualization
stack.

In that case, it is a totally different problem. Mine never booted
successfully. In your case, it seems intermittent.
