[kwlug-disc] Let's Encrypt out of beta

There's a pretty long list of sponsors on their website, I doubt they
are beholden to anyone. They have so much goodwill and support from
groups like Eff and Mozilla that have genuine interest in securing the
web, I doubt they are going to have any trouble funding their relatively
low-overhead project long term.

I also think a lot of us have sent small donations since they saved us a
few bucks a year and a whole bunch of hassle. I certainly did and it's a
bargain.
