[kwlug-disc] Website management tools

I may just end up writing something myself, but I confess that I'm very
rusty when it comes to programming. WordPress made me very lazy.

The end goal is to make it so that Jean can upload whatever she wants
without having to depend on me to help. Ideally we'd like to keep her
website in a blog format and hope that there's some sort of Linux desktop
client that simplifies uploading for her. To use a Windows example, MS
puts out "Live Writer" which greatly simplifies posting to WP blogs (and
other blog formats, I imagine). They announced a couple of years ago that
they were dropping Live Writer so almost immediately an open source fork
(Open Live Writer) came out to replace it. Unfortunately, it's only
available for Windows.

While I don't mind sitting down and coding when I have the time, Jean has
very little time to work on her website so she would appreciate a "one
click" sort of solution.
