Hi Khalid. How do you keep track of simultaneous outages, were you actually watching?

Speaking of TVO, yes there has been two or so outages for less than minute during the past week or two. That was on both 19 (Paris tower) and 28 (CN tower). The fact that the outage was simultaneous on both suggests that this is and upstream issue.

I can't speak to CITV, don't get it, but I did notice significant degradation of everything, including CTV Kitchener, which is highly unusual.

TVO has also been problematic since something like the middle of last week.

CBC has been right out, but I think in that case I only get it for the signal bouncing off something correctly / the stars are in alignment. In that case, I think multipath (same bounced signal arriving mostly simultaneously from different reflected paths, and the tuner unable to consistently lock on any one of them) is my unsolvable problem.

I have also noticed, since last fall, an overall degradation of signal, except for CHCH and CTV Kitchener, which has mystified me. In the sense that presumably the air is clearer, and definitely the leaves are gone from nearby trees, so I expected the signal to be more solid. Conversely, this seems to indicate that trees and leaves are getting me a better signal. Presumably the 'configuration' of such will be different year over year, so I suspect I can't depend upon a sufficiently reliable signal.

Curiously, it has seemed that weather has made little difference, clear skies, nights, rain, snow, or storm. Ice was covering the antenna, which I assume explains most of the recent signal degradation - now largely gone / from the weekend.
