Likewise, I remember my Dad volunteering my brothers and I to
replicate part of an old brewery ceiling and various other
construction tasks in our sun-room addition, Dad designed and built
the trusses. I got to to the sanding, scrubbing, prepping of the
ceiling wood.

That site looks very nice. I noticed a few things in the Fedora
repositories that might be useful to radio operators.
Dad gave me an old WW2-era tube radio set. I left it behind when I
came to Canada with a couple of suitcases and a laptop, but last I
checked many years ago, it worked just fine. I've always been in awe
of tube technology, and how it apparently, to me, at least, dates
back to ancient Egyptian times (see Dendera:
