[kwlug-disc] Starcon could use more sponsors

Also: my hope in posting the original thread was twofold: 

- To hope that some individuals would get together and contribute
  (which has happened, but could happen more).

- To hope that some people who work for tech companies might get their
  employers to sponsor (which AFAIK has not happened).

Sadly we are too close to the deadline for there to be much cajoling
time.
