Direct-bury (or attach to a fence) CAT5 exists, as do PoE injectors. Some APs are PoE PDs already, meaning you don’t need the PoE splitter at the “far end”.
You will still need some way to protect the unit from the elements which adds cost, but this would be the highest bandwidth, most stable option available.

Yes. but real dual band radios and 3x3 MIMO on both bands was a requirement for my particular install. The latter, along with continuous improvement in the beam forming technology is what really helps specifically with range.
