[kwlug-disc] It pays to check your plan

I have been using VMedia for cable internet for a few short years now.  My
plan was 60/10 for $77.95.  A few weeks ago, out of curiosity I checked
their website to see their latest offerings.  They no longer have the 60/10
plan but instead they have a 250/20 plan for $79.95... a whopping $2 more
per month....

Mind you, I had to buy a new modem. But as far as monthly plans go I have
mixed emotions about a) paying so much for so little before, or b) getting
so much more now for the same price...

So it pays to regularly do a little price comparison to make sure you're
not paying old inflated rates...

I'm on Day 3 of the new service.  So far so good.  Noticing wild
fluctuations in my speedtest.net testing, but I can't complain yet..
